Lovely Stay
We had 2 lovely weeks at La Petite Villa. The villa is very comfortable & the garden rolls onto the beautiful beach. The birds are delightful in the garden. We travelled a lot on the local buses to Grand Bay, Port Louis & Botanical gardens. There is a supermarket within walking distance of villa (20 mins). The maid was very pleasant & helpful. Thankyou Bertrand & your lovely family for welcoming us. We would certainly recommend the villa to family & friends.
Truly Wonderful
Four of us had two weeks at the end of November 2009. Everything was exactly as described if not better. The owner Bertrand was always willing to advise or assist with any requests or queries and Josie the housekeeper did a great job of making sure the house was kept clean and tidy (it was great not having to clean the barbeque after cooking).
Although we did go and explore you don’t need to go anywhere else if you just want to sit on the beach. The sand is soft white and the sea an azure blue, a true paradise.

Amazing Villa, Perfect Location!
Just returned from 2 weeks and what can we say….AMAZING!! We have stayed in many villas before but La Petite Villa surpassed all our expectations. Bertrand, the owner was most helpful during the booking process and whilst we stayed at the villa.
Josee was there every day to cook our breakfast and if we had any washing to do she would ask us in the morning and by the afternoon it was laundered and retuned to us! She was truly amazing! If we needed, at an extra cost, she would cook our evening meal for us.
Its a great villa for families and Mauritius as an island has loads for families. We had a day out at La Vanille Crocodile Park which the kids loved (10 & 7) and also we did a boat trip to swim with dolphins, there was lots more to do but we did not want to leave the villa / beach as it was just so relaxing!
We definitely hope to return here again!

Excellent villa, great holiday!
We stayed for two weeks at Le Petite Villa, and they went all too fast!
The villa is clean, modern and well equipped, and we didn’t miss anything. Josee prepared the best lunch for us everyday, and took great care og us. The kids miss her a lot! Bertrand was an excellent host, and helped us with everything we needed. He even drove us to the pharmacy when the rental car was delivered, and we needed some medicine for the flight home.
All in all we had the best holiday. The kids loved the pool, as did the parents. The beach is nice too, and the water nearly crystal clear. We went fishing with a local taxiboat, and got to see a few dolphins too.
We absolutely recommend getting a rental car, as the island has a lot to offer besides Trou aux Biches. The kids enjoyed the lions at Casela Nature reserve and the crocodiles and giant tortoises at Le Vanilla crocodile park.
We really enjoyed our vacation, and can’t wait to get back soon! We would also like to recommend this villa to everyone planning to visit Trou aux Biches. The service we met here beats every hotel we’ve ever stayed at.

Truly fantastic location in paradise
Short – this location is highly recommended. It’s of very good standard as exactly as fine as the pictures look.
We were 3 people staying at the villa – 2 adults and our daughther 2,5 years old on our second trip to Mauritius. It is the perfect place to be on vacation, so relaxing but still with lots to do if you feel like it. The villa is situated literally a 30 seconds walk from the Indian Ocean featuring fantastic sunsets as well as the clear blue ocean with the reef further out taking care of large waves – so very nice with small children.
The location is nice, clean and very well equipped for any need. Self catering is definately possible, but you can also get Josee to cook nice local food for you. There are plenty of restaurants near by – we mostly felt like enjoying the life “at home” with the grill preparing fresh fish for dinner!
Location is spacious and good value for money compared to a hotel room. Service during the stay is quite good.
As destination Mauritius is just very nice… Look around on TripAdvisor for things to do… Climate is just perfect, not too hot and not too cold… The flight from Europe is not too bad – Air France have a nice night-time flight from Paris several days a week. If flying Air France remember to ask for available business class seats at the airport – they will charge you a little for it, but flying home on row 2 with a very nice meal as well as the option to lay down and sleep is just very good.
There is no doubt that we will be back – it is probably not without good cause that rumour’s tell that God created the island as a prototype for Paradise.

Traumhafte Villa
Lieber Herr Piat, liebe Jose,
wir haben einen traumhaften Urlaub in der petit villa verbracht. Die Villa liegt direkt am Meer. 20 Meter Garten trennen die Terrasse vom Meer. Frühstücken und Abendessen mit Meerblick. Spitze. Der Strand ist sehr schön. Schnorcheln und baden perfekt. Das Haus ist sehr hübsch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Pool war meistens im Schatten und daher zu kalt. Dies war kein Problem, da wir das Meer ja direkt vor dem Haus hatten. Herr Piat und Jose haben uns sehr gut betreut. Auf Wunsch bereitet Jose das Frühstück und das Mittagessen zu. Sie hat uns mit typischen Gerichten verwöhnt und es hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Wir haben zusammen eingekauft und beim Fischer frischen Fisch besorgt. Dieser Service hat pro Essen 250 Ruppien gekostet.
Als einzigen Kritikpunkt haben uns doch die sehr harten und knarrenden Betten gestört. Leider hat das Elternschlafzimmer kein Fenster, weshalb nachts die Klimaanlage laufen muss. Fliegengitter sind nicht vorhanden.
Wir haben uns in diesem Urlaub prächtig erholt und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir können das Haus für eine Familie oder ein Paar sehr empfehlen.
Wir hatten auch die Möglichkeit die benachbarte große Villa zu besichtigen. Diese liegt nochmals näher am Strand und ist noch exclusiver. Super für 8 Personen.
