You bet we will be back!

We had utter bliss for our 2 week holiday at the Grand Villa for 8! The kids used the pool on a daily basis which allowed us adults to be around the house and not always having to guard at the beach. The house is very well equipped with all you need to have a fantastic vacation. The location is superb! Close to the grocery shop, lovely restaurants, best beach up in the north and watersports! Mr Bertrand’s staff is ever so lovely and organised! The gardener cut coconuts for us every day! I mean seriously? Paradise.
Thank you Mr Bertrand! We will return. Meike, Toni and Marlo & Stefan, Maggie and Jethro from Cape Town.

Amazing Villa, Perfect Location!

Just returned from 2 weeks and what can we say….AMAZING!! We have stayed in many villas before but La Petite Villa surpassed all our expectations. Bertrand, the owner was most helpful during the booking process and whilst we stayed at the villa.
Josee was there every day to cook our breakfast and if we had any washing to do she would ask us in the morning and by the afternoon it was laundered and retuned to us! She was truly amazing! If we needed, at an extra cost, she would cook our evening meal for us.
Its a great villa for families and Mauritius as an island has loads for families. We had a day out at La Vanille Crocodile Park which the kids loved (10 & 7) and also we did a boat trip to swim with dolphins, there was lots more to do but we did not want to leave the villa / beach as it was just so relaxing!
We definitely hope to return here again!

Great family Villa

We stayed in the grand villa which is spacious with three large sleeping areas comfortably sleeping six. With a generous kitchen and outside veranda only 50 yards from the quiet (in August) beach this was a safe and fun location for us and the kids. There is a small plunge pool if you need it too. The beach is clean and the sea is great for paddling or swimming. There is a supermarket and a couple of good restaurants close by but we found hiring a car pretty essential to get around the island. Weather was mostly good in August daytime but it gets dark by 6:30 with a slight chill in the air so you need extra layers. Sandana (the maid) was excellent cooking us breakfasts and keeping the place presentable. DVD players play English DVD’s if you have kids! Good value for the price. Highly recommend.

Truly fantastic location in paradise

Short – this location is highly recommended. It’s of very good standard as exactly as fine as the pictures look.
We were 3 people staying at the villa – 2 adults and our daughther 2,5 years old on our second trip to Mauritius. It is the perfect place to be on vacation, so relaxing but still with lots to do if you feel like it. The villa is situated literally a 30 seconds walk from the Indian Ocean featuring fantastic sunsets as well as the clear blue ocean with the reef further out taking care of large waves – so very nice with small children.
The location is nice, clean and very well equipped for any need. Self catering is definately possible, but you can also get Josee to cook nice local food for you. There are plenty of restaurants near by – we mostly felt like enjoying the life “at home” with the grill preparing fresh fish for dinner!
Location is spacious and good value for money compared to a hotel room. Service during the stay is quite good.
As destination Mauritius is just very nice… Look around on TripAdvisor for things to do… Climate is just perfect, not too hot and not too cold… The flight from Europe is not too bad – Air France have a nice night-time flight from Paris several days a week. If flying Air France remember to ask for available business class seats at the airport – they will charge you a little for it, but flying home on row 2 with a very nice meal as well as the option to lay down and sleep is just very good.
There is no doubt that we will be back – it is probably not without good cause that rumour’s tell that God created the island as a prototype for Paradise.
Thanks to Bertrand and the staff taking care of us and the villa.

Fantastic location and beautiful house

We had a lovely holiday with our children and their two friends. Great space to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The house could not be in a better location with a beautiful view of the sea. Lots of water sports available right on the beach. The house has everything you need, with the help of Sadhana and Brinda. They were so kind and welcoming. Breakfast was laid out every morning, with pancakes waiting for us. Delicious curry was made numerous times for our evening meal. A little supermarket is within walking distance to pick up all you need. Very nice touch of embroidered towels and robes left in all the bathrooms.
Thank you

Dream place friendly spaceful service-included

.One of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius, facing the Coin de Mire, a quiet and splendid place, close to Grand Baie.
the Grande Villa is directly on a private beach, this means we dined every evening on the terrace facing the sea, next to the pool and under the moonlight….
All the rooms face the see, you wake up with the birds walk out your room directly on the green to have a little bath before the sun burns you too much, and at 6p.m take a drink in the pool with magnificent tropical sunsets,…
The house is a two floor spaceful and well ventilated place, made for an easy tropical living.
Most of all the maid is included and the service is perfect: for parents this is the key for great private holidays!!
We spent the week, adults and teen agers, eating typical mauritius and exotic spicy food, but you can ask Sadna the maid whatever you like, it was so restful and delicious!
Bertrand and Stephanie, the owners, are altogether friendly, boat-lovers and completely discrete.
To make it short, a really magic stay, private comfortable and easy, in a splendid spot.

What you see is what you get – a.k.a PARADISE!!

We had a wonderful stay at La Grande Villa – two families consisting of two adults, one teenager and one child each. Although we were eight people there were plenty of room for all of us! The service, both from Mr Piat, Brinda (cook) and Sadna (house keeper) was perfect. The luxury of deciding the upcoming dinners/lunches with Sadna and Brinda and then have the needed groceries delivered home from Chez PoPo, made everything just as easy as it should be during the perfect vacation.
The location on the beach is absolutely fabulous – can’t ask for anything more! And the snorkeling just outside the house was marvelous!
We recommend all of you to rent either of these houses from Mr Piat! This is paradise!!

Trip of a dream

We are grateful to Bertrand for possibility to stay in his beautiful villa! We had unforgettable time and everything was perfect.
Villa is located in the centre of Treu aux Biches, 10 min by car to the big shopping center, and about an hour to the airport. Comparing with eastern part of the island It got a good, not windy weather, what makes it a magic place.
On the day of arrival Bertrand organised a transfer for us.
The area of the villa is secure, it has a private garden, pool, parking. Everything is well kept and comfortable in use.
The villa is very big, it has 3 bedrooms, big kitchen, living room, 3 bathrooms, and some technical rooms. Wonderful sea view from any room.
Kitchen is modern equipped, so one can feel convenient cooking any dish. On day of arrival the maid cooked us local traditional lunch, we tried mauritius cuisine. She offered to cook every day but it was not necessary for us.
Free WiFi works on the whole territory, even if you want to lay on the beach you can watch movies on-line.
Sadna, the maid, came daily, keeping everything clean, she was very polite and friendly.
On the beach you will see a big modern speedboat, if you want you can go for a trip, just ask Bertrand and arrange a day.
We were admired of a beach. It got white sand, good entrance into water and few people around. Undoubtedly it is the best beach of that we saw at the island (Flicq en Flacq, Tamarin, Le Morne, Blue Bay, Treu deau Dauce, Belle Mare).
In the sunrise or sunset you can walk or run along the beach or simply seat near villa and have a cup of coffee outdoor.
Overall it is an amazing villa with great facilities in a great location and I would recommend it to anyone.

Alles in allem tolle Ferien an diesem wundervollen Flecken Erde.
